Little Pantry with Sharon Barrie Food Bank

Barrie’s Little Food Pantries are a collaboration with local organizations to provide access to food 24/7. The pantries are stocked by the host organization, the community and the Barrie Food Bank. Community members are encouraged to add items* to the pantry. Anyone needing food is encouraged to take what they need.

Donation Items for Little Food Pantries – Winter

Below are items that can be used in Barrie’s Little Pantries during the months.

        • Single serve cereal boxes
        • Pasta or rice side dishes such as Sidekicks
        • Granola bars
        • Crackers
        • Canned tuna or sardines packed in oil
        • Dry Soup, Dehydrated Beans, Dehydrated Vegetables
        • Kraft Dinner
        • Peanut butter
        • Beef Jerky
        • Cookies, Candy bars,

Note: Please do not put items in the Little Food Pantries that are perishable, or spoil in intense summer heat.  These items will be removed for food safety reasons.
