Peter has been with the Barrie Food Bank since June 2011, as the Executive Director he is responsible for the overall management and leadership of the food bank. His purpose in life is to serve others, which is a perfect fit when serving those in need and working closely with our volunteers and donors.

Manager of Community Relations
Michelle has been with the food bank since July 2004. As the Manager of Community Relations she is responsible for client care and advocacy, public relations and management of the warehouse. Michelle has a passion for changing people’s lives. She loves to see people find healing in both body and spirt, be more equipped in knowledge and resources, and more hopeful in their circumstances than before they walked through the door.

Evy has been with the food bank for over 20 years, as the Operations Manager she is responsible for the overall day to day operations including volunteer recruitment, scheduling, our morning drop in program and the afternoon grocery program. Evy has a huge heart for those who use our services.
Marie has been a member of the food bank team since April 2004, as our Administrative Assistant, Marie diligently handles the administrative details of coordinating the food drive mailings, handling financial donations, generating tax receipts, correspondence and bookkeeping. Marie is always willing to serve our volunteers, donors and the people who use our services.
Liz first started with the Barrie Food Bank as a volunteer and then later joined our team in April 2012 as our Receptionist. Liz is the smiling face who greets those clients, donors and volunteers who come through our front door. Liz is also responsible for entering and maintaining our client database. Liz’s professional manner creates a welcoming atmosphere for all those visiting.
John joined our team in September of 2013 as our Van Driver, you will see him travelling throughout the city in the Food Bank van collecting food donations at local grocery stores, schools, churches, farms and businesses. Thanks to the generosity of our community John collects thousands of pounds of food each year. John’s servant’s heart is a true benefit to the food bank.
Cindy has been with our team since February of 1998, as our Custodian she has the responsibility of keeping our facility clean, tidy and safe for all those visiting the food bank. In recent years Cindy has also become an Intake Worker, interviewing clients who are in need of our service. Cindy believes she has a responsibility to give people a hand up as they work towards getting themselves back on their feet.
